About Me

My name is Sage and I started restoring my car at age 23, in 2017.

With the help of many people(see below), I was able to finally get the car on the road in 2021.

My father, Thomas, was my senior partner in this project. Along with being there every step of the way, he funded basically the entire operation :)

Then there is my brother, Koan, who was a major help in the final few years.

My granddad, Thomas Sr., was the one who originally gave me the car. He had the vehicle and most parts with the intent of restoring it himself, but after eight years, decided it was time to pass it along. He drove out from Arizona many, many times and helped me with restoring the engine and is always there a phone call away when I have any questions.

My uncle, Johnny, assisted with the paint and glass. Coming down from Northern California, we spent days priming and sanding the car, before finally painting.

And of course, it would not have been nearly as easy (which it wasn't) to complete without the help of hundreds of others online. Those in similar situations and their own valuable advice. Vintage Mustang Forum
